Masonic Village Nursing Home Samples †MyAssignmenthelp.com

Question: Discuss about the Masonic Village Nursing Home. Answer: Introduction to blog My name is Natalina am currently working for Masonic VillageNursing Home as a Registered Nurse. I completed my Bachelor ofNursing in the year 2015 and in 2012, I was awarded Diploma of Nursing. I am pursuing this course as part of my Master of Nursing. It is my 6th unit on my journey towards my Masters Degree.I chose the palliative care course because I had a passion to saving lives. I like saving lives through medical care and treatment of people with serious illnesses. I hope to gain more experience and skills at the end of the 12 weeks that I can be a fully registered nurses. Motivation about the course The course is much exciting and full of tangible experience. It is a calling rather than a career because it involves lots of commitments which a typical individual cannot endure. Beliefs about palliative care I believe that all end life decisions have complicated psychological ramifications, components and implications which have a crucial impact on the quality of those who are dying and also those who are living (Turan et al., 2017). Good palliative care doesn't mean that we should be rigid in enforcing all the 'best practice' or evidence-based (WHO, 2012). It means being flexible enough to identify what are the patients' priorities and needs, and also being reflexive enough to ensure that we don't push evidence-based palliative care onto the patients. Cultural sensitivities may make it necessary to adapt certain practices to the local setting.Learning goals I agree that palliative care is still not receiving enough coverage in undergraduate medical programs and scanty in postgraduate programs. The training issue is much more fundamental than palliative care education; it centers on the training we receive as health professionals, beyond the specifics of essential knowledge in our respective disciplines.
